GON Outdoor Blast 2025

2025 GON Blast (Georgia Outdoor News) 

This was our first big event for Yahoola Creek Bottoms.

From the booth being built, to the products we sold, we worked so hard, trying to make sure every detail was how we wanted it. 

We met many new people and formed numerous contacts and connections. The entire event was incredible. The YCB team dedicated months, to preparing for the exciting weekend. We were grateful for the support shown by friends and family. 

We had many visitors stopping by mentioning they saw us on TikTok or follow us on Instagram, it felt surreal. It was pretty dang cool.

I also had the chance to judge the State Championship Senior Turkey call competition. It was a really cool experience, some of the best callers in the United States.

The folks over at Pistol Creek who hosted the call competition, they are also from the same neck if the woods we live in, they were fantastic, they stopped by and checked on us multiple times over the weekend to make sure everything was going well, and to see if we needed anything, we are Grateful for them.

Another Highlight for us, we met a Family, Similar to ours, the Newton's, they have a little boy, Fletcher, they stopped by and picked up a call or two, Fletcher entered into the Young Pults competition and got 2nd runner up. He's going to be an amazing caller soon. Happy we met him, and that entire family. They are some amazing people. 

Overall, we are blessed beyond measure, and I owe it all to the man upstairs.

The Family of friends we made, the new contacts, the support each one has given us, it was amazing. I can't wait to see what's next for Yahoola Creek Bottoms.
